...but... but... I just wanted to reply to comments and say a quick thank you to people, so they know I read their comment and aren't stuck-up and ignoring them, even if their comment didn't have any critique or questions for me to answer.
Well, that's rather annoying.
I guess it's a good thing, but I didn't really have anything against very short comments anyway. I know everyone's busy with their own concerns.
-In other news, I just received Corel Painter X. Does anyone have any tips to share?
I love it so far.
I can't believe it took me so long to realise why the funny triangular colour picker was the way it was. I'm learning to use it now, and adding black or white to the pure colour you have on the right point makes sense. I guess it took so long because it's designed to make sense to painters, something I definitely was not, when I tried the demo.
I also love simple things like being able to paint in from the edges of the canvas without dragging guides across the painting as you would in Photoshop.

The main thing is you need to keep on doing finished art in color, that's the main difference and you will break though the competition easily once you get a few more done! -Debra
