The Ferethen are wild equines who roam the Great Forest. They are extremely long-lived, and every bit as intelligent as the mages with whom they once formed partnerships. The herds keep to themselves now, hidden away in their misty hills.
In addition to the ability to speak mind-to-mind, they are believed to be so intuitive, and their comprehension of emotion and threads of meaning so great, that they are able to comprehend foreign languages and translate instantly for others. As for magic, they seem to utilise a different kind of magic entirely to the mages: one that is wild and unpredictable.

Her design has changed since last I drew her - finally I have a drawing that displays her type as I imagine it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
